Former MP and Viswa Hindi Parishad (VHP) national president Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad paid a courtesy visit to the Governor, S. Abdul Nazeer, at the Lok Bhavan here on Monday (March 02, 2026). Mr. Lakshmi Prasad apprised the Governor on the activities of the Lok Nayak Foundation, particularly its initiatives in promoting literature, preserving cultural heritage, and supporting meaningful social movements across the country. He highlighted the Foundation’s sustained efforts in encouraging writers, scholars, and cultural ambassadors who contribute to national integration and linguistic harmony. He extended his appreciation for the Governor’s consistent encouragement of the promotion of Telugu language and commended the successful organisation of International Telugu Summits.
