Members of Anjuman E Faizan E Hussaini Committee participating in a protest march condemning the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei in the Israel-US attack, in Shivamogga on March 2. | Photo Credit: SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT Members of Anjuman E Faizan E Hussaini Committee took out a protest march in Shivamogga on March 2, condemning the killing of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei in Israel-US attack. The members, dressed in black, raised slogans against the U.S. along the march. They carried the Indian flag and portraits of Khamenei during the march. Later, they gathered at the Deputy Commissioner’s office. Moulana Abbas Ali Sharief of the committee, said that the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran for their selfish needs and killed innocent people. Khamenei had fought for the people of Iran, he pointed out. “The followers of Khamenei will not become weak. The Supreme Leader is still alive in the hearts of his followers,” he said. He also appealed to the Indian government to condemn the U.S. for its acts and take necessary measures for the protection of people in the conflict area.
