Telangana Government has announced a 24X7 Control Room at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi to coordinate and extend assistance to people of the State residing in the Middle East (West Asia). The Government has already received calls from the people in the affected countries and family members.

“Under the directions of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, the Government of Telangana is closely monitoring the situation prevailing in certain Middle East (West Asia) countries. Senior officials at Telangana Bhavan, New Delhi are already in continuous contact with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, and the concerned Indian Embassies to assess the situation,” as per a press note.

Family members and friends have been reaching out to their dear ones in residing in the affected countries to enquire if they are safe, and have been tracking the news.
