All India Primary Teachers’ Federation (AIPTF) South India coordinator Syed Showkath Ali on Sunday clarified that the organisation had not joined any other federation’s Joint Action Committee at the national level. In a statement, Mr. Showkath Ali said there was no truth in the reports that AIPTF was a part of the All India Federation of Joint Action Committee formed at national level, as depicted by a section of media and social media platforms. Clarifying that Sushil Kumar Panday of Uttar Pradesh was officially made the national president of the federation, he said misleading reports in this regard were a handiwork of mischief-mongers.
