A 50-year-old man and his 16-year-old son were arrested on Sunday (March 1, 2026) after the latter, who does not have a driving licence, rode the former’s two-wheeler and caused a fatal accident in Coimbatore. The police said the two-wheeler ridden by the minor hit N. Thirunavukkarasu (70) of Kasthurinaickenpalayam on February 28. The elderly man died without responding to treatment on Sunday.
