A total of 36,564 candidates, including 35,712 regular students and 852 private candidates, are set to appear for the Class XII public examinations in Coimbatore district from March 2 to March 26. According to the School Education Department, the examinations will be held at 130 centres across the district. The 35,712 school students comprise 19,344 boys and 16,368 girls from 365 schools.
