A big turnout marked the district-level meeting of Jana Sena Party activists here on Saturday (February 28, 2026), where leaders called for unity and disciplined structural growth ahead of the upcoming local body polls.

Addressing party activists, Civil Supplies Minister and Jana Sena Party PAC chairman Nadendla Manohar called on them to work collectively to strengthen the party from the village to the State level.

He observed that the leadership of the Deputy Chief Minister and the party’s State president, Pawan Kalyan, was crucial for Andhra Pradesh. “It is the duty of all of us to consolidate his leadership through grassroots mobilisation. Only those who work sincerely for the party would be considered for posts in local body elections,” Mr. Manohar said, asserting that 50% reservation for women would be implemented.

Highlighting that unity would play a key role in the party’s growth, the Minister cautioned against internal strife and petty disputes. “The membership drive must be completed successfully. Every worker would get their place in the party,” he said, adding that under the trio of Pawan Kalyan, Chandrababu Naidu, and Narendra Modi, the State had been positioned towards a steady progress and development path.
