Officials of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB), Tirupati Range, trapped a camp clerk of Sullurupeta revenue divisional officer (RDO) Ch. Hemant Sathvik, senior assistant Sk. Siraj, and a private person B. Venkata Subbaiah, while they were allegedly taking ₹40,000 bribe from the complainant, for doing official favour to him on Saturday (February 28, 2026). The accused were arrested and they would be produced before the ACB special court in Nellore, the ACB officials said. Searches conducted In a separate case, the Rajahmundry range ACB officials conducted searches on the properties of Kadiyam Sub-Registrar Officer (SRO) E. Lakshmi, senior assistant M. Veera Venkata Krishna and office subordinate (working on outsourcing basis) K. Veera Babu, and seized valuables. The ACB authorities registered a case against the SRO and her staff on January 29, 2026. The investigation officers conducted searches on the properties of the accused on February 28 (Saturday) and seized gold and silver jewellery, other valuables, the ACB official said.
