In view of the lunar eclipse on March 3, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) has announced temporary changes to its darshan schedule at the temple of Lord Venkateswara. Accordingly, Slotted Sarva Darshan (SSD) free tokens will not be issued in Tirupati on March 1 and 2 for darshan scheduled for March 2 and 3 respectively. However, the temple management clarified that SSD tokens for darshan on March 4 will be issued on March 3. VIP Break Darshan also remains cancelled on March 3. Consequently, no recommendation letters for VIP darshan will be accepted on March 2, the TTD said. The temple administration said the decision has been taken in accordance with established religious practices observed during celestial events such as eclipses. Devotees planning their pilgrimage have been advised to take note of the revised schedule and make necessary arrangements.
