Siva Saravanan The ₹21.55-crore redevelopment of the Ukkadam bus stand in Coimbatore city has progressed with the completion of Terminal I. The facility is ready for inauguration. Terminal I has been developed near the down ramp on Selvapuram Road. According to officials, it has 28 bus bays to handle town bus services. The terminal provides seating for 120 passengers. Provisions have been made for three reverse osmosis drinking water units to supply treated water at multiple points within the terminal.
