A view of the Kalaburagi Railway Station. | Photo Credit: FILE PHOTO Central Railway has decided to continue the services of Daund-Kalaburagi special trains during the Holi festival and upcoming summer vacations to clear the extra rush of passengers. According to a press release issued by the Solapur Division, Central Railway, Train Nos. 01421/01422 Daund-Kalaburagi unreserved daily specials, which were earlier notified to run five days a week (except Thursday and Sunday) till February 28, will now continue to operate till July 15. These services account for a total of 196 trips. Similarly, Train Nos. 01425/01426 Daund-Kalaburagi bi-weekly unreserved specials, which were scheduled to run every Thursday and Sunday till February 26, have also been extended till July 15. These services will operate for 78 trips. The Railway authorities clarified that there would be no change in the time, composition or stoppages of the above trains. Passengers have been advised to travel with valid tickets to avoid inconvenience. Bookings for unreserved coaches can be done at station booking counters as well as through the RailOne app. For more details, passengers may visit www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in or use the RailOne or NTES mobile applications.
