RAJU Visakhapatnam will host two-day Tollywood Celebrity Cricket League (TCCL) matches at the ACA-VDCA Stadium. The schedule for the matches was announced by noted Tollywood actors Srikanth and Tarun, at a press conference on Friday. Actors Sudheer Babu, Omkar, Ashwin Babu, Ayyappa Sharma, Prince, Khayyum, ETV Prabhakar, Samrat, and others accompanied him. Mr. Srikanth said that a total of seven teams comprising of 110 celebrities will participate in the league. Two teams each will represent Tollywood film actors and television actors, while one team each will consist of police personnel, bureaucrats, and political leaders. “The revenue generated from the matches will be utilised for the education of underprivileged children, contributed to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, and other charitable initiatives,”, he said. He also announced that people can watch the matches for free. One of the organiser of the TCCL, Mr Rambabu said that the matches will be organised on the lines of the IPL format.
