Two individuals were arrested by the Petbasheerabad police on Friday in connection with a medical admission fraud in which parents of MBBS aspirants were cheated on the promise of management quota seats. The accused, identified as Argadapa Arvind Rao alias Aditya Kumar alias Adithya Deshmukh, 40, a resident of Ameerpet, originally from New Delhi, and Kusume Venkata Rao, 58, a resident of Banjara Hills, were arrested in Ameerpet. Forged seat allotment letters, fake agreements and mobile phones containing incriminating digital evidence were seized. They were produced before a court and remanded to judicial custody.
