Radhakrishnan on Friday said that the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between India and the European Union (EU) will double the export from Salem district in the next two years. The Vice-President inaugurated the new academic block constructed at a cost of ₹30 crore in the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology at Thillai Nagar, near Ponnammapet, under Salem Corporation.
