Nallakannu, who passed away in Chennai due to age-related ailments. Organised by CPI’s Puducherry unit, the condolence meeting was attended by leaders, including Member of Parliament and PCC chief V. Vaithilingam, Congress Legislature Party leader M. Vaithianathan, former Minister and DMK leader S. P. Sivakumar, CPI secretary A. M. Saleem and CPI (M) leader V. Perumal. The leaders hailed the contribution of Mr. Nallakannu towards upliftment of the working class and the poor.
