The District Crime Branch (DCB) police here registered a case against five persons, including a manager of a public sector undertaking, on charges of cheating and among other criminal offences on Friday. Following a complaint from Annalakshmi, wife of Mazhuvendhi of Jayamkondanilayam near Tirupathur here, SP Shiva Prasad directed the DCB police to register a case.
