File | Photo Credit: RAMAKRISHNA G Telangana Jagruthi’s president, Kalvakuntla Kavitha posted ‘Satyameva Jayate’ (truth triumphs) on X, after a Delhi Court on Friday (February 27, 2026) discharged her, former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the now-scrapped Delhi liquor policy case. Besides them, 20 others too were given a clean chit in the case. Ms. Kavitha, daughter of Telangana’s former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, said that the case was “foisted” against her as part of a “political vendetta”. She was in jail for five months and was released on August 27, 2024 after Supreme Court granted bail. Speaking to the media in Hyderabad on Friday, she recalled the ordeal she and her family went through during the jail term.
