Funds to clear pending bills of Telangana government employees were released by the State government on February 27, 2026 | Photo Credit: BY ARRANGEMENT The Telangana government released ₹745 crores for clearing the pending bills of the State government employees on Friday (February 27, 2026). Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka asked the officials to release the money immediately. This disbursement comes as part of the assurance given to employee unions that ₹700 crore would be sanctioned every month to clear their pending bills. The government has been releasing ₹700 crores every month since last June. Meanwhile, the Finance Department also released ₹389 crore to gram panchayats.
