Kurnool police arrested four suspects in a murder case registered at Kurnool I Town Police Station on Thursday.

Speaking to the media here, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) J. Babu Prasad said the incident occurred on February 22 near Anil Bar at the old bus stand, following a brawl. The victim, Amarachintala Manohar, was allegedly attacked with knives and sticks and later declared dead at the Government General Hospital.

The official said the accused were arrested near Joharapuram power sub-station on the outskirts of the city. An auto, two bloodstained knives, and weapons used for the murder were seized. All four were produced before the court and remanded.
