The Cyberabad Police reviewed the adoption of an artificial intelligence-based predictive traffic management system capable of forecasting congestion, simulating real-time road scenarios and optimising traffic signal timings across the commissionerate.

The proposal, aligned with European standards, was reviewed at a meeting at the Police Smart Integrated Operations Centre (PSIOC). Cyberabad Police Commissioner M Ramesh directed officials to study the feasibility of introducing intelligent traffic technologies to strengthen congestion management, improve enforcement efficiency and enhance overall road safety.
