Madurai Corporation has announced that all tax collection centres will be open in March to enable the residents to pay taxes. According to a press release, with the fiscal year ending next month, property, water, underground drainage and professional taxes and non-tax payments like rentals can be remitted in the tax collection centres. They would be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The residents should make use of the opportunity and remit the taxes without delay, the release said.
