The couple reportedly tied the knot on Thursday morning, at 10.10am, at a Telugu wedding ceremony in presence of family members and close friends. The pre-wedding ceremonies held at Mementos Ekaaya luxury hotel and resort in Udaipur over the last few days have been closely-guarded private events, with guests barred from taking their mobile phones to the venue. The actors are expected to officially share images later in the day. The couple got married in Telugu traditions in the early hours of the day. A Kodava style in line with Rashmika’s family traditions, will follow suit. So far, Vijay and Rashmika have shared images of floral arrangements and decor on their social media handles and refrained from posting official photographs of them during the ceremonies. The actors first collaborated for the Telugu film Geetha Govindam (2018) and reunited for the 2019 film Dear Comrade. They will be seen together in director Rahul Sankrityan’s upcoming Telugu film Ranabaali, scheduled to release later this year. Through the years, despite speculations, the actors remained tightlipped and preferred to keep their relationship aware from public glare.
