Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, S26+ and Galaxy S26 launched: Features and price

Samsung on Wednesday (February 25, 2026) launched their first major flagship smartphone series for the year 2026: the new Galaxy S26 series, featuring Galaxy S26 Ultra with S-Pen support, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26. It also launched new wireless earbuds, Galaxy Buds 4 Pro and Buds 4, alongside the Galaxy S26 series unveil.

The South Korean electronics major has scaled heavily on Galaxy AI and is now moving towards the Agentic AI era with the Galaxy S26 series where phones will provide more contextual information to the users.

In terms of processor, the Galaxy S26 Ultra gets a Qualcomm chip while the Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy 26 run on Samsung’s own Exynos 2600 processor.

Samsung has also introduced the concept of Privacy display on the Galaxy S26 series which claims to prevent peeking on to the phone’s screen from sides. When on, it adjusts the pixel brightness so that side angle becomes blur or blackened.

Galaxy S26 Ultra

The premium phone in the segment, Galaxy S26 Ultra has a 6.9 inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 2,600 nits peak brightness. It comes bundled with an in-built stylus, the S-Pen.

Galaxy S26 Ultra will run on Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor with up to 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage. It operates on One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 out of the box. Samsung will give 7 years of OS and 7 years of security updates to the entire series.

Galaxy S26 Ultra uses a 5,000 mAh battery, and supports up to 60W charging.

Galaxy S26 Ultra sports a 200 MP main camera, a 50 MP periscope lens, a 10 MP telephoto and a 50 MP ultrawide sensor. It has a 12 MP front camera.

Galaxy S26+

The Samsung Galaxy S26+ has a 6.7 inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED display with 2,600 nits peak brightness and a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Samsung has used a 4,900 mAh battery in Galaxy S26+. It does support 45W charging.

It has a 50 MP main, a 12 MP ultrawide, and a 10 MP telephoto sensor. Selfie camera is of 12 MP here as well.

Galaxy S26

The base variant in the Galaxy S26 series offers a 6.3 inch display with similar refresh rate and peak brightness as Ultra. It has a 50 MP main, a 12 MP ultrawide, and a 10 MP telephoto sensor. It has a 12 MP front camera.

Galaxy S26 ships with a 4,300 mAh battery with 25W charging support.

Galaxy Buds 4 Pro and Buds 4

The new Galaxy Buds 4 Pro and Galaxy Buds 4 come with hi-fi audio. The Buds 4 Pro features claims an improved active noise cancellation and adaptive EQ and supports 20Hz-40kHz frequency range. Both models support Super Clear Call and Integrate with Al agents such as Bixby, Google Gemini and Perplexity, and come in White and Black matte finishes.

Pricing and Availability

Samsung will announce the India price and availability of the Galaxy S26 series on February 26. Pre-reserve is already live for the phones. The Galaxy S26 series will come in Cobalt Violet, White, Black and Sky Blue.
