A three-day training programme sponsored by the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, on the theme “Leadership in Prison Administration” has began at the Central Prison, in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday. The programme is being organised under the guidance of Superintendent, Central Prison, Visakhapatnam M. Mahesh Babu. On the first day lectures were delivered by senior professor and principal, Science and Technology, Andhra University, Dr. M.V.R. Raju, associate professor of Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, IIM, Visakhapatnam, Dr. Happy Paul. They shared insights on leadership and administrative excellence.
