Siva Saravanan The Tamil Nadu State Highways Department (NH wing) is awaiting approval from the Central government to repair the damaged portions of the NH 181 (formerly NH 67) in Coimbatore district. An official of the department said the plan is to repair the road wherever it is damaged for about 40 km from Ondipudur flyover in Coimbatore city to Burliyar, on the foothills of the western ghats. The department has sought ₹240 crore for the project. The plan includes a project to construct a bridge across the Bhavani, fill up the patches, and repair the damaged portions.
