SHETTIGAR Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday highlighted the need to foster rationality (wisdom) and scientificity (knowledge) in the education system as it was only the educated who fall prey to superstitions and ignorance. The Chief Minister was speaking after inaugurating the 35th annual day celebrations of Kissan Sabha Trust’s Mahatma Gandhi Residential High School and Kissan Sabha Auditorium in Kukkundur-Karkala. Earlier, Mr. Siddaramaiah inaugurated Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Bhavan, constructed by the social welfare department at a cost of ₹7 crore at Kabettu in Karkala.
