India Meteorological Department – Hyderabad Centre issued an alert around 2.17 p.m. predicting light rain or thundershowers in parts of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) over the next couple of hours. Serilingampally, Qutbullapur, Kukatpally,Khairatabad,Patancheru and Alwal were forecast to receive the showers. No part of the GHMC received rain till 2.45 p.m., according to Telangana Development Planning Society’s weather observations.
