City police achieve `zero cultivation ganja’

The Visakhapatnam Range police have officially achieved `zero cultivation’ of ganja (cannabis), this was announced during a high-level interstate coordination video conference held on Tuesday between senior police officials of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, an official release said.

The meeting, led by Visakhapatnam Range Inspector General Gopinath Jatti, discussed about the achievements of both the States’ police departments. He explained to the Odisha officials on how to dismantle illegal drug farming through a mix of strict policing and social welfare.
