A.P. hotels association seeks ease in pollution compliance rules

The Hotels & Restaurants Association of Andhra Pradesh (HRAAP), led by its president M.V. Pavan Kartheek, met A.P. Pollution Control Board chairman Krishnaiah during his visit to Visakhapatnam on Tuesday to submit a representation regarding environmental classification and compliance norms applicable to the hospitality sector in Andhra Pradesh.

Mr. Kartheek requested early implementation of the revised 2025 environmental guidelines in place of the existing 2016 norms. The association representatives stated that the updated guidelines would bring clarity, uniformity and ease of compliance, and help rationalise the regulatory burden on hotels across the State.
