Chief Minister Naidu to distribute pensions to elderly in Vizianagaram district on February 28

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will distribute social security pensions to eligible elderly persons and others on February 28 in Ravivalasa village of Cheepurupalli constituency of Vizianagaram district, said Collector S. Ramsundar Reddy and Joint Collector S. Sedhu Madhavan on Tuesday. Both the officials visited Ravivalasa and nearby Pailapeta village where a public meeting is being organised for direct interaction between the Chief Minister and beneficiaries. Cheepurupalli MLA Kala Venkata Rao also visited the venue and offered a few suggestions to the officials.

Minister for MSME Kondapalli Srinivas and other public representatives will hold a meeting in a few days to ensure foolproof arrangements for the Chief Minister’s meeting. The selection of Cheepurupalli constituency for the meeting assumes significance as YSRCP senior leader and opposition leader of the Legislative Council Botsa Satyanarayana represented the constituency thrice. Mr. Satyanarayana has been holding review meetings to strengthen the party ahead of local body elections. In this background, the Chief Minister will visit Cheepurupalli constituency and hold a meeting with TDP leaders after completion of the official programmes.
