Law enforcers in Central zone gear up for upcoming assembly elections

Law enforcers in the Central zone are gearing up for the upcoming assembly elections by constituting election cell in the respective districts falling under the zone and vesting them with multiple tasks connected with security and poll related aspects with the overall aim of ensuring free and fair polls. 

The election cell constituted in every district recently consists of a team of police personnel headed by an officer in the rank of a Deputy Superintendent of Police.  It would function under the Superintendent of Police of the respective district. The cells would assess and devise plans for management of men, material and vehicles required for the forthcoming elections besides making assessment of the manpower strength required for bandobust in their respective district.
