The 41st national annual workshop of the ICAR-All India Coordinated Research Project (AICRP) on Post-Harvest Engineering and Technology (PHET) was inaugurated at GITAM Deemed-to-be University on Tuesday. S. N. Jha, Deputy Director General (Agricultural Engineering), ICAR (New Delhi) and Vice Chancellor, R. Saradha Jaya Lakshmi, ANGRAU (Guntur), attended as chief guests Mr. Jha advised that advanced technologies such as robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) must be integrated into every project to enhance efficiency and precision in agriculture.
