RAJESH Teachers of government aided colleges staged a human chain protest in Thoothukudi on Tuesday, demanding immediate release of career advancement pay that has been withheld only for aided college faculties. Government aided college teachers have been carrying out various phases of protests, urging the government to grant them career advancement scheme pay and arrear on par with government college faculty. As part of this ongoing agitation, human chain demonstrations were organised in front of aided colleges.
