Nara Bharath Reddy, MLA for Ballari, and District in-charge Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at the Jindal airport in Toranagallu on Saturday. | Photo Credit: SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT Nara Bharath Reddy, MLA for Ballari, and District in-charge Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan, met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at the Jindal airport in Toranagallu on Saturday evening and briefed him on the recent violence in Ballari. The MLA and the Minister apprised the Chief Minister of the sequence of events related to the clash and the prevailing law and order situation in the district. Earlier, the Chief Minister had sought details of the incident from Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Hithendra, Ballari Range Inspector General of Police Vartika Katiyar and Davangere Range Inspector General of Police Ravikanthe Gowda. The Chief Minister arrived at the Jindal airport by helicopter after attending an official programme in Sindhanur, Raichur district, and later left for Bengaluru by a special flight.
