Kalaburagi district has once again emerged as the top performer in the State in the disposal of citizen service applications through the Atalji Janasnehi Kendra, achieving a disposal rate of 95.42 per cent in December 2025.

According to official data released on Friday, the district disposed of 38,133 applications within the stipulated time out of 39,964 received during the month, securing the first position in the State in terms of efficiency in service delivery. The applications pertained to 41 services of the Revenue Department provided through the Nada Kacheri platform.

The district recorded a disposal index of 9.31, drawing attention to Kalaburagi’s performance in public service delivery despite being located in the northeastern end of the State. Officials said the achievement reflected the district administration’s focus on time-bound service delivery.

Taluk-wise figures showed consistently high disposal rates across the district, including Afzalpur, Aland, Chincholi, Chittapur, Jewargi, Kalaburagi, Kalagi, Kamalapur, Sedam, Shahabad and Yadrami. In Kalaburagi taluk alone, 8,926 applications were disposed of out of 9,566 received during the month.

The district had earlier secured the top position in July 2025 as well, and has now repeated the performance, earning appreciation from the public. Deputy Commissioner Fouzia Taranum attributed the achievement to the coordinated efforts and commitment of the Nada Kacheri and Atalji Janasnehi Kendra staff, and congratulated all personnel involved. She urged officials to sustain the momentum in the coming months.

Meanwhile, a review of district-wise performance across Karnataka showed that four districts from the Kalyana Karnataka region featured in the top 10. Kalaburagi and Vijayanagara secured the first and second positions respectively, while Raichur stood fourth and Yadgir ninth, highlighting the region’s improving record in public service delivery.
