Nearly 30,000 Class X students across Visakhapatnam district will write the SSC Public Examinations-2026 from March 16 to April 1, between 9.30 a.m and 12.45 p.m. Visakhapatnam Collector M.N. Harendhira Prasad on Monday directed officials to conduct the upcoming exams with “absolute transparency and zero errors.” Presiding over a high-level review meeting at the Collectorate, the Collector emphasised that all departments must work in coordination to prevent the slightest technical or administrative glitch. Officials reported that a total of 30,633 students are expected to write the exams across 133 designated centres in the district. The Collector ordered immediate enforcement of Section 144 around all examination centres to maintain a peaceful environment for students. To curb malpractices, he instructed continuous round-the-clock CCTV surveillance at all centres. He also instructed that medical camps be established at every exam venue to handle any emergencies.
