Entrepreneurial development initiative

Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM) has launched Growth Mastery – Batch 2, a specialised entrepreneurial development initiative aimed at strengthening the capabilities of emerging and established business owners. It was supported by the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI)

It is a three-month weekend executive offline programme, covering business areas such as marketing and digital transformation, finance and regulations, operations and supply chain management, artificial intelligence, and human resource management.

Following the successful completion of Batch 1 with 15 participants, the February 2026 batch brought together 12 entrepreneurs.

PG and Research Department of English, Fatima College, Madurai, organised a One-Day International Seminar on ‘Identity and Expression: Global Narratives of Belonging and Cultural Exchange’.

Speaking at the event, resource person Priya Banu, Managing Trustee of the Transgender Resource Centre, Madurai, explained the historical presence of transgender communities and their representation in Tamil culture and literature.

J. Kennedy, Professor in English, Department of Languages, Eastern University, Sri Lanka, defined literature as an expression shaped by emotion and culture.

Department of Food Science and Nutrition, Mannar Thirumalai Naicker College, in collaboration with Indian Dairy Association – Tamil Nadu Chapter, organised an International Seminar titled ‘SustainNourish – 2026: Innovations in Food Processing Technology and Nutrition for Sustainable Health’.

It was organised by Department of Social Welfare and Child Development, Government of Tamil Nadu.

Rajadharshini from Dindigul Farm Products Limited, Vibin representing Lazza Ice-cream, Baskaran from Palm Oil Public Company Limited, entrepreneur Manibharathi, and Associate Professor from Mother Teresa Women’s University Geethanjali were the resource persons.
