BALACHANDAR Ramanathapuram Collector Simranjeet Singh Kahlon released the final electoral roll following a Special Intensive Revision on Monday, confirming a total of 11,23,029 registered voters in the district. The final publication for Ramanathapuram district confirmed a total of 11,23,029 voters, comprising 5,56,321 male voters, 5,66,653 female voters, and 55 third-gender voters. This reflects a growth of 31,703 voters since the draft roll was released on December 19, 2025. A press statement stated that during the claims and objection period, based on the petitions received from the voters, a total of 36,573 voters – 17,108 male voters, 19,462 female voters, three third-gender voters – were added. At the same time, based on similar procedure, a total of 4,870 voters – 2,119 male voters, 2,748 female voters and three third-gender voters -deemed ineligible were removed from the list. As per the final electoral roll published, Paramakudi Assembly Constituency (Reserved) has a total of 2,33,433 voters – 1,15,701 (male), 1,17,714 (female) and 18 (others); Thiruvadanai Assembly Constituency has 2,82,121 voters – 1,40,103 (male), 1,41,997 (female) and 21 others; Ramanathapuram Assembly Constituency has 3,10,165 voters – 1,52,412 (male), 1,57,740 (female) and 13 (others); Mudukulathur Assembly Constituency has 2,19,310 voters – 1,48,105 (male), 1,49,202 (female) and 3 (others). The final electoral roll published would be on display at the office of Electoral Registration Officers, Assistant Electoral Registration Officers and designated locations of polling stations in the district. Further, public could also access the voters list on the official websites – www.elections.tn.gov.in and http://voters.eci.gov.in. Sivaganga A total of 11,10,599 people figured in the final electoral roll of Sivaganga district. Collector K. Porkodi released the final electoral roll in the presence of representatives from recognised political parties. As of October 27 last year, there were 12,29,933 voters across four Assembly Constituencies in Sivaganga district. After the Special Intensive Revision of the electoral roll, the draft electoral roll released on December 19 had 10,79,105 people. Subsequently, the summary revision of the electoral roll took place from December 19 to January 30, 2026. During this process, 40,548 people applied for inclusion, 8,811 for deletion, and 21,775 for corrections and transfers. According to the final electoral roll, Karaikudi Constituency has 1,48,087 male, 1,55,256 female, 28 others, totalling 3,03,371 voters; Tiruppattur Constituency has 1,34,270 male, 1,39,183 female, 3 others, totalling 2,73,456 voters; Sivagangai Constituency has 1,35,113 male, 1,41,039 female, 4 others, totalling 2,76,156 voters and Manamadurai (Reserved) Constituency has 1,26,565 males, 1,31,048 females, 3 others, totalling 2,57,616 voters. Overall, the district has a total of 11,10,559 voters – 5,44,035 males, 5,66,526 females, and 38 others. If there are any objections to final electoral roll, an appeal could be made to the Sivagangai District Collector within 15 days. If there is an objection to the Collector’s order, an appeal can be made to the Chief Electoral Officer in Chennai within 30 days, Ms. Porkodi said.
