Abdul Azeez assumed office as the new Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Sivakasi Branch on Saturday. According to a press release issued here on Sunday, the new team included Vijayadurai B as vice-chairman, Anusha R secretary and Vasanth B treasurer. The 15th installation ceremony was presided over by K Lakshmi Narayanan, senate member of TN Dr Ambedkar Law University. Senior CAs Rajendra Kumar and Rajesh S and industrialist A Asai Thambi participated. Former Chairmen of the ICAI Sivakasi branch offered felicitation. Chartered Accountant G. Raja spoke on ‘unlocking the audit and accounting strategies at the year end’, the release added.
