Andhra Pradesh is set to host an Investment Bazar in Vijayawada on February 24 to bring together industries, bankers, technology providers and policymakers to explore opportunities in energy efficiency investments, Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand has said.

Chairing a virtual review meeting on energy efficiency investments on Saturday with AP Transco Joint Managing Director G. Surya Sai Praveenchand, DISCOMs CMDs L. Siva Sankar of SPDCL and I. Prudhvi Tej of EPDCL, and AP Genco In Charge MD and CPDCL CMD P. Pulla Reddy, among others, Mr. Vijayanand said the State was firmly committed to developing Amaravati as a hub for energy efficiency investments. He noted that Andhra Pradesh was strengthening its policy framework and adopting innovative financing models to promote sustainable industrial development.

The event is being organised by the State Energy Conservation Mission as part of the Energy Efficiency Financing Platform initiative of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency to facilitate investments in energy efficiency projects.
