Cracking down on anti-social activities, the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit conducted special night raids, detaining 14 sex workers and three transgender persons. In addition, seven accused were arrested in three cases under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, and four victims were rescued. A case was also registered against a spa centre found to be operating without proper permission and in violation of norms. Family Counselling and CDEW centres continued their intervention in domestic disputes, resulting in 28 families reconciling and resolving differences between spouses. In coordination with the Society for Cyberabad Security Council, a ‘Women’s Day Safety Boot Camp’ was organised for employees of CVM Solutions Private Limited in the JNTU–KPHB area. Around 50 women employees were trained in self-defence techniques, workplace safety and ways to handle harassment. Police also conducted extensive awareness programmes across Cyberabad, educating 3,852 people on issues such as human trafficking, child marriage, cyber harassment, eve teasing, stalking and cyber fraud. Officials reiterated the importance of helplines including Women’s Helpline 181, Child Helpline 1098, Dial 100 for emergencies and 1930 for cyber fraud complaints.
