Dinesh Condemning Congress workers’ protest against the AI summit in Delhi, the Shivamogga district unit of the BJP’s youth wing attempted to lay siege to the Congress party’s district office in Shivamogga on Saturday. The protesters, who gathered at Gopi Circle in the city, marched towards the Congress party office. The city police intervened as the protesters attempted to reach the office, and barricades were placed to stop the workers from marching ahead. They raised slogans against the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, and also burnt an effigy of him. The protesters said that the Congress had shown their disregard for the country by staging the protest at the AI summit. BJP district president Mohan Reddy, secretary Deen Dayal, youth wing leaders Darshan, Rahul Bidare, and others led the protest.
