Y. Selvin takes charge as Thiruvananthapuram Railway Division Manager

Y. Selvin, IRTS, has assumed charge as the Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM) of Thiruvananthapuram Railway Division, succeeding Viji M.R, IRAS.

A distinguished officer of the 2008 batch of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS), Mr. Selvin brings with him rich and diverse experience in both the operations and commercial wings of the Indian Railways. Prior to his posting as ADRM, he was serving as the senior divisional commercial manager of Thiruvananthapuram Division. He has earlier held key positions as senior divisional operations manager in Thiruvananthapuram, Palakkad, and Chennai Divisions and contributed significantly towards operational efficiency, traffic management and commercial performance.

He has been the recipient of several awards including the Railway Board Award and the General Manager’s Award in recognition of his meritorious service. Mr. Selvin has also undergone specialised and advanced training programmes, including training on High-Speed Train systems in China.
