BJP State president P.V.N. Madhav has criticised the Congress party, alleging that while India is showcasing its technological leadership by hosting the prestigious Global AI Summit in New Delhi, the Congress has chosen disruption over national interest.

In a press release on Friday, he stated that under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, Congress activists reportedly created a disturbance near the summit venue at Bharat Mandapam, describing it as a highly objectionable act.

Mr. Madhav said such actions were detrimental to India’s global image and appeared intended to undermine the country’s reputation on an international platform.

The BJP leader questioned whether political interests weer more important than the nation. While the right to protest was an essential component of democracy, no one had the right to damage the country’s international standing, he said.

Stating that India deserved better political standards, Mr. Madhav added that the nation does not need such divisive politics and called for responsible conduct in the larger interest of the country.
