According top priority to the welfare and safety of students studying in Social Welfare Gurukul institutions, the government has mandated the appointment of nodal officers to conduct regular inspections in Gurukul schools and preparing the enquiry calendar well in advance.

According to the instructions, the inspection schedule should align with district plans and be shared with all concerned departments. Nodal officers are required to carry out inspections as per the fixed timetable and also conduct surprise visits to verify the proper functioning of educational institutions.

After every inspection, officials would have to prepare detailed reports and upload them immediately, along with information on corrective steps taken. District authorities have been instructed to promptly communicate the actions initiated following inspections.

The government has further directed that a consolidated report on the actions taken must be submitted without fail by the 5th of every month to the respective heads of departments and secretaries. These steps, the government said, are aimed at enhancing monitoring mechanisms and ensuring the overall well-being, safety and academic environment of students in Gurukul institutions throughout the State.
