The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has extended the last date for payment of examination fee for the certification course “Introduction to Quantum Computing: Quantum Algorithms and Qiskit” to February 23, 2026. In a statement on Friday (February 20), council Secretary B. Tirupati Rao informed that the certification examination was being conducted in association with National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL). Eligible students from Andhra Pradesh can now complete their examination fee payment of ₹500 till February 23, 2026 through the designated online portal, he said, adding that the application and payment window was live from February 16 to 23, 2026. The course could be accorded an academic weightage of 1 credit. It represents a significant opportunity for students to gain exposure to emerging technologies aligned with India’s quantum mission and future-ready skill development initiatives, he said. The Secretary said to support inclusivity and accessibility, IBM has provided the course content in Telugu language (MP3 and SRT files) to benefit Telugu medium students, particularly from general degree colleges across the State.
