A lift developed a technical snag and stopped midway on Wednesday at Mylapore MRTS railway station, trapping passengers inside. Sources said 10 women were trapped in the lift. On being alerted, personnel from Fire and Rescue Services rushed to the spot and rescued the women. The effort took around 20 minutes.
