Harshavardhan Raju and Yerragondapalem Constituency TDP in-charge Erixion Babu Guduri inspecting security arrangements at Kothuru village, Dornala mandal, Prakasam district on Thursday. Ahead of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to Dornala mandal of Prakasam district on February 25, Collector P. Raja Babu and Superintendent of Police (SP) V. Harshavardhan Raju inspected the security arrangements at Gantavanipalli and Kothur villages on Thursday (February 19). Though the official schedule of the Chief Minister’s visit to Dornala mandal was yet to be released, sources said Mr. Chandrababu Naidu will lay the foundation stone for the feeder canal that will transport water from the tunnels in Dornala mandal to the Sagar reservoir, on February 25. The District Collector instructed the officials to expedite the arrangements for the CM s visit. He inspected the helipad area, meeting venue, parking areas, convoy route and surrounding areas in Kothur. Later, the SP inspected the venue, parking area, entry and exit points, as well as the route from the helipad to the meeting venue. He asked police officers to work in coordination with the officials from other departments and take precautionary measures to ensure that no security lapses arise during the visit.
