A visual from drone surveillance carried out in Mysuru. | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement The city police carried out drone surveillance in areas under the jurisdiction of Udayagiri Police Station and Mandi Police Station on Thursday with the objective of maintaining law and order and ensuring public safety. The drone surveillance covered areas in the vicinity of Al Badr and Nimra Mosque in Udayagiri Police Station and Kailaspuram and Sunni Chowk in Mandi Police Station limits, said a press statement here. The police department has been conducting daily surveillance over key locations and crowded areas using drones. “In the coming days, drones will be effectively used to gather intelligence and provide early alerts during various bandobast duties, public meetings, special events, and other activities in the city,” said the press statement.
