Sreenarayanaguru Open University (SGOU), Kollam, has invited applications for its UGC-DEB approved undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes for the February session of the 2025-26 academic year. The undergraduate courses include a three-year BA Arabic programme spanning six semesters. Additionally, the university provides four-year degrees in English, History, Malayalam, Sociology, BBA, and BCom, consisting of eight semesters. A notable feature of these programmes is the ‘Exit Option’ which allows students who successfully complete three years of study to graduate with a degree certificate. For postgraduate aspirants, two-year (four-semester) programmes are available in English, History, Malayalam, Sociology, and M.Com. Eligibility for UG programmes requires a pass in Plus Two or an equivalent examination, while a degree from a recognised university is the basic requirement for PG courses. Under the UGC-approved ‘Dual Degree’ system, students currently pursuing regular studies in other universities are also eligible to enroll in these programmes concurrently. Prospective students must submit their applications online through the university’s official website www.sgou.ac.in. Online registration started on February 18, and the final deadline for submitting applications is March 10.
